We have high quality plating on our jewelry. Still, durability of the plating may be affected by your individual skin and your skin-pH. Durability also depends on how you treat your jewelry: you should take it off before you go to bed, do not shower with it, and do not swim with it. Then you will enjoy your jewelry for a long time.
While we usually use only 925 Sterling Silver for our high quality jewelry we have chosen Brass instead of Silver for these hoop earrings for two reasons: first, our research has shown that the open hoop-structure requires for stronger material than Silver and second, these earrings are lighter when made from Brass rather than Silver and thus give you a better wearing comfort. Be assured that the plating quality corresponds to our standard high plating quality.
